From October 9th through the 11th the Ramona High counseling team will host workshops for Seniors to help them develop their plans for after high school. These workshops will be during ELT and you can sign up for them on the senior classes canvas page under modules.
On October 9th, 10th, and 11th, Seniors can sign up for workshops about online college applications. In this workshop, the counselors will go over the application process and help students get started on their applications. This workshop overviews CSU, UC, Common Application, and the out-of-state college's admission processes.
Also on October 9th, 10th, and 11th Seniors can receive guidance on their UC personal insight questions for UC school applications. This workshop will overview their purpose and can help students receive insight on how to answer the questions to their best ability.
Information on financial aid including FAFSA/ CADAA will be provided in ELT workshops on October 9th, 10th, and 11th. There will also be information on scholarships and letters of recommendation for them presented during these workshops.
On Thursday, October 10th, and Friday, October 11th information on career options and apprenticeship opportunities through Palomar College will be shared during ELT workshops. Guidance for applications and interviews will be presented as well as exploration of career options through Xello.
On Wednesday, October 9th and Friday, October 11th, workshops will be hosted presenting information on how to apply to Palomar and the California Promise programs benefit for students. A representative from Palomar College will be going over this information.
Be sure to sign up for these workshops as they can be very beneficial if these are topics you are interested in! A google form can be found on canvas for you to fill out in order to sign up for these ELTS.
